How to fake six pack

A university student has become one of the most viewed people in the world on YouTube after her 'How to fake a six-pack' video gathered over 20 million hits.

Natalie Tran entered the list of the 20 most-watched videos of all time on YouTube with the parody of an ad that showed how women could achieve the look of a six-pack under the guise of make-up products.

Her site, Community Channel, was said to be the most-subscribed YouTube site in Australia with more than 600,000 viewers,  News.com.au  reported.

The 23-year-old Sydneysider reportedly bags thousands of dollars a month from the ads running beside her videos.

Speaking about her clips, she said: "Most of them are observational videos. I try to make light of some of the funny situations people face every day."

Vijay in a Rajini film

“Ella Pugazhum Oruvan Oruvanukke… Nee Nadhi Pole Odi Kondu Iru…” was the opening line of a hit number from a super hit of Ilaya Thalapathi Vijay. And Vijay is serious about nothing but his work. He is returning with a bang by releasing three films in a year.

The surprise doesn’t end there. While speaking at a function in Trichy to release the audio the film 'Veluthu Kattu' director and father of Vijay SA Chandrashekar said that he is going to remake some of his old hits with the new generation of stars and technicians.

His first in the series will be the remake of 'Naan Sigappu Manithan' starring Rajinikanth, K. Bhagyaraj and Ambika. The film was super hit in the 80s. It was vendetta tale in which the hero a self-styled vigilante and goes after the bad guys after he loses his sister and mother to the villains.

And you guessed it right. SAC is planning to cast Vijay in the role of Rajini.

Vadivelu to join DMK ??

The ruling DMK may have another star attraction in its fold. For, days after Kushboo enrolled herself in the party, Vadivelu has said no one could stop him if he “makes a decision to become a member of the DMK”.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the Dharmamuneeswarar temple festival at Madakottai in Ramanathapuram district on Saturday, the comedian however said that he had no immediate plans to enter politics.
Pointing out that no one had pressurised him to join the DMK, he said his sole aim was to make the people of Tamil Nadu happy by doing comedy roles in films. “At the same time, no force can stop me when I decide to join the Dravidian party,” he said.

Vadivelu is facing a series of problems after his fallouts with DMDK president Vijayakanth and his one-time close associate Singamuthu. Recently, he called on Chief Minister and DMK president M Karunanidhi to get his blessings for doing a role in ‘Ilaignan’, which has script by the octogenarian.

Q & A With Indian Racer Ajith Kumar

Indian racer talks of his targets for Marrakech and his motivations for the season ahead

Following a solid opening weekend at Silverstone, South Indian film star Ajith Kumar took time out whilst on a short break in Chennai to reflect on his opening weekend, and to look ahead to the forthcoming round at Marrakech.

Kumar not only met his target of finishing both races and gaining valuable seat time in the two UK races, but significantly also improved between each session as he continues to acclimatise to the Williams JPH1B F2 car.

Ajith, who scored two podiums in his last full season of motorsport in the British F3 National Class, admitted he was looking to continue such improvements at the Marrakech City Circuit this weekend, and remained hopeful that his participation in F2 would only help boost the profile of motor racing in his home country.

What is your assessment of yourself and your performance after the first two races?

My main agenda for the race weekend at Silverstone was to finish both the races and gain as much track time as possible in the car. I was pleased with my performance in the second qualifying session, and race one also went very well. In race two my car had a problem with the turbo - around the 17th lap the engine lost revs completely. I had no other choice but to continue and finish the race, and in the process I finished 2 laps down.

What do you forecast at Morocco? What will be your strategy there?

Morocco as you know is a street circuit. I will have to study the circuit and understand from my race engineer what the best setup for the car should be. My strategy for Morocco will be to try and bridge the gap between the frontrunners and myself.

What is the kind of encouragement you receive from people like Jonathan Palmer and Piers Hunnisett?

Mr Jonathan Palmer has been very supportive. He is closely monitoring my progress, and can offer valuable tips and advise after sessions. Most importantly he understands my passion for the sport and how important it is to take this sport to the rural areas in developing countries like India.

Mr Piers Hunnisett, who is a successful race car driver himself, handles my racing programme and career. He takes care of logistics for - travel plans, accommodation, licensing, insurance coverage for both car and driver and PR in UK. He also provides driver coaching. Having Piers for help is a god send. I thank my friend Narain Karthikeyan for getting Piers on board.

Obviously your enthusiasm for racing has increased for you to get back to active racing. What is your main motivating factor?

Motorsports in India has definitely come a very long way, with two drivers from India making it to F1 (Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandhok), and Mr Vijay Mallya owning India's first Formula One (Force India). Hopefully India will also host an F1 event in 2011! It's time the sport reached the masses and the rural areas, and I hope that my mere participation helps that happen.

What is the kind of support you have been getting from your family?

My family understands how much I love this sport. The very fact that they have accepted my decision to participate in a very fiercely competitive championship like Formula Two speaks volumes for their support. My family and I strongly believe that life is not about winning or losing. It's about following our hearts and living our dreams!

What is your target as you progress through the various rounds?

My target is to do the best I can in terms of my own abilities!

Beauty Tips for Teen Girls

Makeup and clothing is an issue for many teenage girls. If you are stressing about what you should look like as a newcomer in middle school, or a freshie in high school, here's a quick guide to help your fashion mature with you throughout middle and high school.

In Sixth grade, wear lip gloss, some mascara, and maybe a little bit of pale eyeshadow; don't go too heavy or it may look bad. If you want to try out more types of makeup, keep that for home experiments.

As for clothes, keep it in your comfort level. Bear this in mind: if you are wearing a bra or undershirt, don't let the straps hang out. It doesn't look cool; it just looks sloppy. If you are wearing a short shirt, check in the mirror to see if your stomach hangs out of the bottom. Otherwise, wear something a little bit longer. Also, if your pants are likely to slip, wear a belt. Belts are totally hip now!

* The main point is to keep the makeup light, and the clothes clean cut.

In Seventh grade you are beginning to care a little more what you look like; you might want to try curling your hair a few days a week, and using different hairstyles besides your typical ponytail.

If you are acne prone, try foundation. Remember thet even oily skin can get flaky and that looks horrible with foundation. So try it on weekends first and ask your mother (or someone that uses foundation well) if it looks okay.

In Seventh grade you might want to try eyeliner. But not too much because you don't want to look like a racoon!

Start trying to tie outfits together with accessories. It's good to try new things with your makeup and clothes. But when you try the new things, make sure it looks good on you, not just in the picture or at the store. Check out different stores, and find out if there is a style that suits you.

In eighth grade you are probably getting good at makeup and you know what you like. Try establishing your own hairstyle without looking like everyone else. For example, if everyone has long, layered hair with no bangs, try light wispy bangs and a shorter, layered look.

You might be wearing tighter jeans now and probably starting to get concerned with impressing the guys, so it's safe to try out more mature styles such as a sleek leather blazer, or lower cut necklines. If you are happy with your sports bra, that is totally OK. But it's safe now to check out the actual bra department and wear something that makes you feel pretty - like lace.

Ninth grade: high school! This is a big transition. Now in the same world as seniors, you are going to want to look like the rest of your peers. You should by now have your makeup and hair styles already. Try to update this look a bit, because no one wants to carry the same look they had in middle school. Dramatize a detail in your hair. If its known for it's left side part, part it even deeper. Make a straight style even sleeker and hip. Learn to make youre curls tighter, or looser.

In high school you might want to wear your usual make up during the day, and as you start to go out with friends and boys at night, add a darker shade of eyeliner, or jazz up your lips with something more festive. It's also good to try new shoes, try wearing spikier ankle boots with a pair of hot jeans and a blouse. Chunkier heels aren't as hip as spikes as you get older. Incorporate accessories into your outfit. Buy yourself a bag that's in suede or leather to keep your schoolbooks in, instead of a backpack. You will want to buy yourself a new jacket, and make it your own.

You know what you like, so go and find clothes that fit your style, but crank it up a notch for a more mature feel.

Shankar to direct Ilayathalapathy Vijay

It’s well known by now that Vijay has been roped in to play Aamir Khan’s role in the 3 Idiots remake by Gemini Film Circuit. Now the latest news is that top Kollywood director Shankar may be directing the remake.

One hears from sources that the producers after considering several filmmakers from Tamil and Tollywood, have managed to convince Shankar to helm the project.

Quite a feat, since Shankar is one director who prefers to tackle new themes with a commercial touch and has never attempted a remake in his 17-year career. But then convictions change.

Even veteran K. Balachandar, who insisted on an original script, later relaxed his policy and remade the Bollywood flick Golmaal, named Thillu Mullu, with superstar Rajinikanth in a double role. Similarly, Shankar might also give it a shot.

If he does, it’s sure to be a significant movie in Vijay’s career, since it’s been his long-cherished dream to act under Shankar’s direction. Maybe this tidbit from the past has something to do with it — Shankar was a former associate of Vijay’s father S.A. Chandrashekar in many films, including his mother Shoba Chandrashekar’s debut, Nanbargal.

PL parties: the inside story

India, May 14 -- Dhoni was right in one way. Players have to make their own choices about their bodies, but it's not always that easy - not if you're not Mahendra Singh Dhoni or Sachin Tendulkar or Rahul Dravid.
My problem with the IPL Nites parties was not that I was forced to attend by any contractual obligation. There was no such thing for me, or, to my knowledge, for any of my fellow India players.
Each party was invariably the same routine. You would have a set-up with a ramp show that lasted 30 to 45 minutes, then the models would come off and mix with the rest and the party would take off.
There were cheerleaders and girls who we called 'escort service'. Beautiful women to add glamour to the mix, get the party moving. They were not allowed to talk to any player for more than five minutes. If they did, a manager would walk up and slickly move her away.
But there were other women, willing and uninhibited. The big-name players who did attend generally handled themselves without a problem. They would hang around, chat, have a drink, pick up a happy girl, sometimes two, take her back to the hotel room and have some fun.
Watching some of our younger players, the u-19 and u-22 kids, though, was scary. They had never been exposed to Bollywood stars, Page 3 personalities, endless cigarettes (all free), flowing booze, occasionally drugs and always women, willing women, everywhere. The boys lapped it up, and would party right through. Those that didn't drink or smoke did so to be part of the cool gang.
The pressure lay more in the occasional hint dropped by an IPL official, a sponsor or a franchise official that it would be good if I were there for a bit, that there were some people they would like me to meet. I am not Tendulkar or Dravid, I couldn't say no, go back to my room and stay there and not be bothered.
So when you go back to the room to recover, you really don't want to hang around there when the rest of the guys are going downstairs - the parties are always in the team hotels - and you don't want to be called "boring".
So you tell yourself, 'I'll go down for an hour', only, it's never an hour. Before you know it, it's 4am and you're heading back to your room, hurrying to pack up and head to another city, another game, another sponsor's commitment (which are endless), another shoot possibly and yes, another party.
The problem is that you can never switch off mentally. Not on the field, not during the hours spent in airports when fans and the airport staff want an autograph, photograph or just a chat and not in the parties, where you'll be introduced to important people who will listen to you and perhaps, be important contacts who will make money for you. It's a choice and it's tiring but it's also business. You have to be switched on.
It takes a toll, when you play a game, party till 4am, pack and grab an hour's sleep before heading for the airport and spend six to 12 hours travelling. Places like Jaipur and Chandigarh don't have direct connections to everywhere else. That's my most vivid memory of IPL, not the matches, not the parties but the endless travel and exhaustion - and next year, with 34 games more, it will only get worse. I didn't even know if I really wanted to. It's like this.
The IPL is intense; short bursts of highly charged games and then, nothing. There's no period of introspection.
(As told to Heena Zuni Pandit. The player has chosen to remain anonymous.)

Ten Steps to a perfect kiss

"Our date was extremely romantic, until I offered to seal the night with a kiss, which unexpectedly turned out to be quite awkward. While, I was gravely ashamed, she never came back,

Well, the misfortune of a bad kiss can fall upon any of us. Consider yourself lucky if your kiss left your partner craving for more. And keep your fingers tightly crossed for no one plans a kissing blunder, it simply happens! And mind it, you are hardly left with anything to mend the embarrassment caused by a 'dud kiss.' If a perfect kiss can register success in your relationship, a kissing bummer is good enough to bring your love journey to a dead end even before it starts.

Follow our '10 commandments of perfect kissing' and you'll never be tagged as a 'poor kisser'...

1. Thou shall not be a stinking fish

Nothing can kill a kiss like foul breadth. So, the first commandment keeps you off kissing, if your mouth is stinking due to hygiene issues, food, tobacco or excessive smoking. If you don't want your partner to remember the kiss for all the wrong reasons, try to look out for solutions. Dr. Kamal Bisht, a general physician suggests, "Begin by brushing your teeth before you go out on a date, irrespective of the time. Cleaning your tongue is also important as it removes bacteria. Avoid kissing if you have just had smelly food products like garlic, onions etc. Keep a breath spray handy and use it periodically throughout the day." Last but not the least, if you are a smoker, the pleasure of smooching your partner can be your motivation to kick the butt!

2. Thou shall open your mouth with care

"My girlfriend has this habit of opening her mouth very little while kissing, which does not allow me to enjoy a passionate kiss to the fullest," avers Rajdeep Bhawmik, a Delhi-based architect.

While, there's no accurate rule for opening the mouth, it's generally seen that a deep kiss using tongue is a huge turn on. Equally terrifying are gulpers who open their mouth wide open while kissing, ready to swallow their partner. The trick is to keep one's lips lose enough to let the lips of both the partners glide smoothly over each other making it a yummy kiss. Also, “start with a lip-to-lip kiss and gradually taste the depths of pleasure," suggests sex expert, Dr. Rajan.

3. Thou shall not be a dead dud
"For both men and women, responsiveness is the chief factor that makes for a better kisser," says author William Cane in his book, The Art of Kissing Book of Question and Answers . So, rather than pouncing upon your partner's mouth, try and figure out the styles and movements that your partner enjoys. Try to figure out his/her likes and dislikes and adapt your technique accordingly.

Going with the other partner's rhythm is crucial. Don't expect your beau to do all the work while you enjoy his kissing moves. "My girlfriend is a hesitant kisser. She doesn't even move her head; forget about getting playful with her tongue and lips. It's just like I'm trying to find pleasure with a stiff stick," reveals Chandan Gupta, a 20-year-old college student.

4. Thou shall be a learner

No body is a born kisser. So, if you are an amateur kisser, who is apprehensive about locking lips, just follow your partner and the rest will fall into place, the way it happened with Jayati and Mayank. "During the initial days of our courtship, my girlfriend Jayanti was quite clueless about kissing, which was a big turn-off for me. But soon she realised her awkwardness and made a smart move. She simply started copying my style and now she can beat me in a passionate kiss," tells Mayank Taneja, a Mumbai-based PR professional.
Remember kissing is all about adapting and learning.

5. Thou shall use your hands appropriately

Agreed, that using hands results in elevating levels of passion. But do not pull his hair or grab her waist as if she'll run if you leave. Kissing is about imparting pleasure rather than inflicting pain. “Keep your hand movements limited to sensual and soft strokes on your lover's arms, back, neck, waist and hair or simply cup the face,” suggests Cane. Don’t get too aggressive in the name of showing wild passion. "My first boyfriend almost gave me bruises every time we kissed. Pinching and grabbing me gave him a sense of high, but I failed to match up with his wild passion and we broke up after a few dates and kisses," relates Madhurima Goel, a 19-year-old college student.

6. Thou shall not let your tongue go loose

You don't have to gag your partner by shoving off your tongue deep down into his/her mouth. Take it easy. The kissing rule for tongue says –less is more! Let the tip of your tongue perform the magic with subtle and gentle strokes. You can use your tongue for exploring, but that doesn't allow you to reach between your partner's teeth –as it can be a big turnoff. "Remember, slower the tongue movements, hotter is the passion," says Dr. Shivi Jaggi.

7. Thou shall not give me a saliva bath
Wet kisses undoubtedly work when it comes to getting into some raunchy action, but that doesn't give you the liberty to go lap, lap, lap all over your partner's face. "My girl is a passionate kisser. But, the only problem with her is that her kisses are really wet. She licks my chin, cheeks, forehead etc, which becomes quite messy for me," complains Jatin Sharma, a 24-year-old, management student. So, slobbery is not welcomed while kissing.

8. Thou shall not have sex on your mind
It is not necessary for a kiss to end in some hot action between the sheets. Your kiss shouldn't give away the hint that you are getting desperate to hit the bed. "Kissing brings people close physically and emotionally. And this closeness satisfies a deep emotional need for connecting with your partner," explains Cane.
So, while you are kissing, be sensitive to your partner's need. He/she may or may not be ready for sex immediately. Don't use a kiss as a means to reach a sexual climax. Let your kiss be romantic rather than plain sexual.
"I can still remember my first kiss, though for unpleasant things. The way the guy was busy groping me, gave clear clues that he wanted to have sex with me on our first date itself and I wasn't ready. And soon after that date, within no time I made up my mind to never meet him again."

Another way to keep your first kiss plain romantic, rather than hard core sexual can be to keep your hand-work limited to the non-erotic zones like the neck, arms, back waist etc., rather than reaching out to the erotic zones. Though, imagination and experimentation can be your yardstick if both of you are ready and enjoying.

9. Though shall not stare while kissing
You might be curious; you might feel like watching your partner taking pleasure in the act, but continuously staring at him/her while kissing is a big no no! Whenever a person is enjoying something to the hilt, their eyes automatically shut. Closing the eyes is an autonomous stimulus to pleasure. So, kissing is no exception to this rule and people tend to close their eyes. “Also, the sight of your partner almost eating you might not look very beautiful if you watch it continuously, though there's nothing wrong in getting a peep every now and then," suggests Dr. Rajan.

10. Thou shall be confident of your kiss
Be it a plain pucker or a passionate lip lock, not just the initiator, but even the recipient ought to be confident. Remember, to go with the flow and you'll do fine. When passion reaches its zenith, no guide-book or tips remain in one's mind. So, just be yourself and let the warmth of your lips take over. "Be it approaching your lover for a kiss or accepting his proposal, both should be utmost confident. Jitters may spoil the mood, irrespective of who is getting them,"

A long time dream of Dhanush is turning a reality now. The actor, toeing the line of his father Kasthoori Raja and brother Selvaraghavan, is all set to become a director, however for a short film initially.

And joining hands with Dhanush in this novel attempt is Sandalwood siren Divya Spandana (formerly ‘Kuthu’ Ramya), who had shared the screen space with the actor in his 2007 release ‘Polladhavan’.

“Doing a short film for my friend Dhanush. He is an amazingly talented guy; a great actor and soon-to-be director,” the actress posted as her status line on her homepage in a popular social networking site.

Bathing Sensation: Neetu Apes Smita's 'Chakra'?

Neetu Chandra's on a wet footing. Hah, quite literally. Chandra, reportedly, has enacted a sensuous bathing scene in 'The Apartment'… and comparisons are being drawn between the late Smita Patil's outdoor clean up in 'Chakra' and her soapy effort in the Jagmohan Mundhra flick.

"I have been compared to Smitaji ever since I did 'Traffic Signal'," declares NC in a media talk. "I know that Smitaji has done a similar bathing scene in 'Chakra', but that was outdoors and this one is in a run down broken bathroom. Smitaji was a legend, and if I can be one per cent of what she was, my life is set!."

Chandra, however, states that she wasn't totally nervous about this watery move. "Jag sir said that he would present me aesthetically and that I could call the shots and get the scene edited out if I did not like the end results."

Query her on her family's reaction to this bold step… and Chandru asserts, "I'm only answerable to my work, and nobody else. And I take my own decisions."

Guess, it's a watered down matter….
