Nana is a good listener

Everyone in the industry knows that to convince Nana Patekar is a supremely tough task. Anyhow Prakash Jha managed to convinced Nana and Deepa Mehta (wife of Ketan Mehta) is happy.
The story goes like this………..
Post ‘Welcome’ Deepa Sahi signed Nana Patekar and Hema Malini for the film 'Na Na Karte Pyaar', Nana demanded 5 crores and Deepa agreed, a signing amount of 1 Cr was also given. Due to some reasons or the other nothing much happened and Nana’s post ‘Welcome’ releases bombed at the B.O. In fact his ‘Horn Ok Please’ is awaiting a distributor for the past 2 years. ‘Rajneeti’ took off and Nana got busy with the shooting. Deepa felt 5 crores is not worth and asked Nana to consider on price as his market was giving favorable returns but Nana was adamant in reducing his price.
Insiders say that Nana was not very convinced with the concept. Prakash Jha came to know about this and he convinced Nana to return back the money if he is not very much convinced with Deepa’s project.
Nana later after some persuasion from Prakash Jha returned the money to Deepa.
We don't know whether Deepa will  look for some other choice or shelf the film but one thing we're sure Nana is open to advices and he truly follows the funda of ‘learn to listen and listen to learn’.
